The Winners

We had a very difficult time deciding who was the 'best' among our many entries. There were some that were artistically superb, some that were hilarious, and a few that were both. In the end, we decided to choose our winners from across the spectrum.

Here, in no particular order, are the ones we chose and a brief narrative of why they were ranked above the rest. Each artist has won a copy of 'Meditations on Middle-Earth".

Erin Pennington
This one is funny and the drawing is great. It starts off in a scene straight out of the books and leaves you with a wicked grin at the end. Good stuff.
Though it wasn't one of the most artistic comic we received, this one still makes us laugh. Nazgūl are even cruel to each other. LOL.

Great drawing and hilarious theme.
SHOOT ME! SHOOT ME!
Too much!
What great artwork. Beautifully painted and well designed. I just wonder if they really had bananas in Middle-earth.
